SUMMER CAMP - PUDONG

Summer Fun @ Vizcaya

This summer, your children can enjoy fun-filled weeks with friends in a safe environment right here in Shanghai!!!

For Whom:
Children from ages 5 to 10 (they must be able to communicate in English and be enrolled at school full-time). Children from Vizcaya and other compounds are welcome.

When:
Session 1: June 23 - 27, 2008
Session 2: June 30 - July 4, 2008
Session 3: July 14 – 18, 2008
Session 4: August 4 - 8, 2008
Session 5: August 11-15, 2008

Hours are 9:30 to 15:30. Children must be dropped-off and picked up at the reception room of the Function Hall at these hours.

Where:
Vizcaya Clubhouse, Jinqiao, Pudong. The Vizcaya facilities will be used including: function hall, outdoor/indoor swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, park, etc.

Activities:
A combination of indoor and outdoor activities will be organized distributing the children by age group.

*In-door activities: Arts & Crafts, Singing, Story-telling, Martial arts, Indoor Group Games.
*Outdoor Sports: Tennis, Basketball, Swimming, Outdoor Group Games.
*Friday morning: outings to the Zoo, Aquarium, Thinktown and other fun destinations (packed lunches and transportation will be provided).

Fees:
*RMB 1,650 per child per one-week session (Vizcaya Residents & AKS members)
*RMB 1,850 per child per one-week session (non-residents & non AKS members)
--) The fee includes access to all activities, a warm lunch, all materials and transport for outings.

Staff:
Active Kidz Shanghai will run the camp and provide camp instructors with a ratio of 1 instructor for every 6 children.

Registration:
There are limited places available. Registration will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis.
*To reserve a place, please complete the registration form available at the Vizcaya Clubhouse Ballroom or download the form from www.activekidz.org (click on Our Programs, Summer Camps, Pudong) and fax it to 5422 4594.
*You will need to pay a RMB 300 non-refundable deposit (to be deducted from program fees). Registration deadline is June 13, 2008. If there are not enough registrations by this date, the deposit will be refunded and the relevant camp session(s) will be cancelled.

Emergency:
All children are expected to have their own medical insurance in case of emergency. Parents should provide emergency contact information and any preferred emergency procedure as part of the registration paperwork.
