DRAWING

In this drawing course, children will learn how to draw flowers, trees, houses, cartoons; and the principles of colour, contrast, light and shadow.  Children will use simple and amusing ways to give some volume and texture to their drawing, using pencils, color pencils, oil pastels and charcoals.  Apart from acquiring some artistic skills, children also become more creative and they build up team working spirit from pair work.  A small project will be given each week and each child’s interpretation will be presented and analysed during the class.

PAINTING

The painting course will allow your children release their talents. They will discover the primary techniques such as color mixing, use of different brushes, drawing, etc by using pencils, gouache (water paint) and water color, and creating works such as landscapes, compositions of objects, abstract pictures, still life and many others. A small project will be given each week and each child’s interpretation will be presented and analyzed during class.
